Welcome back to our quickie lessons. In this lesson, you are going to learn how to use “in charge of” in English.

But first, let’s define it!

To be in charge of something means to be responsible for something.

For example,

I’m in charge of the sales department in my company.
I’m in charge of recruiting new people.

Just remember that if you follow “in charge of” by a verb you have to use +ing
Just like, “I’m in charge of recruiting new people.”
